It does look great. I hadn't realized you weren't staying with the midnight blue color. I assume they dealt with engine compartment etc. so that it looks like a factory paint job? What are the white specks in the photo - I'm sure they're not in the paint, so maybe you need a lint remover? Can't wait to see more of the whole job.

I believe it is just the photo he did repaint the car midnight blue. I don't think he has given her a wax and polish yet... He told me last night that he will have the final photos with the new seats sometime this weekend. He is taking it to the Eurocar meet this weekend for the big debut I can't wait to see them too!



Here is a cleaner version of the photo I color corrected the photo. I think the bright blue So.Cal sky is throwing the true colors off...

i did keep the original color - the white specks are me being impatient and not waiting for them to wipe the compound dust off the car before i snapped the shot - most panels were shot off the car, so no paint lines - no worries on the engine bay

NOT!!! Beautiful.



The bolsters on the side of the seatback look deep enough that, if I ever got in, I'd need a hoist to get out.



Is the paint really still midnight blue?

those are vdo guages (same manufacturer as the stock dash guages) oil temp, vacuum, and clock - you can get the plate at www.968engineering.com



so, as luck would have it, ayn (the boss) hates the belts - may have to change to sparco clubmans or something like that - she hates the latch type and i don't particularly want cam lock - gotta check the cgr on belts
