Yep...Thanks fellas!

found a white 85 944 door for 50$(has the painted upper piece around window). Looks the same except may not have center crease (hidden by plastic moulding strip in pics)

Should be shipped out to me next week. Already got new door handle (150$)and parts from Lindsey racing and used plastic skirts (99$) ebay.

Same thing happened to me last winter. Slow right turn, traded ends, ended sliding up over the curb

backwards and up on the grass. Caused a small crack in the rocker panel that can't be seen and

I spilled some coffee. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/ohmy.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Lucky was I...

At the time I had factory "open" differential.

Now, car is much more "planted" with new LSD installed,

and a bit more fun to drive. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

But I was also running the wrong tires for the winter, and I am sure

that played a role in the back end breaking loose. I have since corrected that

problem. I now only run the Bridgestone S0'3's during warmer months.

Sorry about the door, but glad no one was hurt. Good luck with the repair.

The hard part might be finding the rocker panel.

Try some of the dismantlers.

I think someone on pelican maybe splitting up a 968?
