Personally, would go for the high grade paint regardless. In that quantity, while it may be nearly 2x the price...your overall cost isn't that much more when it comes to repainting a fine machine like this.
I would definitely spend the time to take off the bumpers, remove as much trim and glass as you can. Put on new rubber seals if they've shrunk in the Hawaii sun. If you do go to sell it in the future, a well-concealed repaint will make people feel better that the job was done right and with care.
