silver hood crest
#1

I replaced the "gold" hood crest with a silver one. I'll have to give it a few days to see if I like it enough to leave it there for a while. Not sure at this point... sort of an acquired taste I think. Or, I'll just alternate crests every couple of months for the heck of it. Man, I'm bored ! Must find a job soon

Pics please. I'm contemplating the switch myself and I'd love something to feast my eyes on. I thought I'd like the silver (aluminum) rear logo better than I do, so before I fork out the bucks.....

I'll take a picture tomorrow and post it.

Amazing that the silver ( chrome ) crest goes for $ 90, while the other one is only $ 25. I see no reason why this one is so much more expensive but when it comes to Porsche things I learned to accept that often times no reasonable answer exists.

lol - i went back and forth myself - gold - silver - gold - silver - finally deleted the thing all together - much happier now - no more waxing around it and never being happy about the result - never really liked that kind of thing anyway

here are some pix, including one with the gold crest for a side by side..

I think I'm still leaning toward thew gold...for my iris blue color ( maybe on black or midnight blue, or slate grey, etc the silver would be much more striking..)

besides, it matches my wheel center caps crests
