The Porsche Panamera sees its 10,000th unit built
#21

I'm not sure of the authenticity of the Autoexpress images, ie that they have any relationship to Porsche's designs. There has been mutterings that they look helluva lot like a photoshop splice of an Aston rear onto a Panamera front. There have also been comments attributed to VW/Porsche that a 2 door Panamera will not happen and that the 4 door has a limited life circa 2016 and that we won't be seeing the Cayenne for much longer either.

Sorry for the OT,

But 968Oz - would love to see some pics of your 928! Please start an OT thread! Sounds like a really neat color combo...

I am just curious - do any of you who "absolutely hate" the Cayenne own one?

Ditto on that! The Cayenne is a great vehicle. Same goes for the Panamera. Don't slam it unless you've driven it, particularly on a track. I also happen to think the Panamera looks much better in the flesh than in photos. Both are terrific vehicles.

Not saying they're horrible vehicles from a use standpoint, I am merely saying the styling stinks.

I am sure they are incredible to drive, as most Porsches probably are, but I wouldn't buy either were I in that market segment.

I am glad people do like them- helps keep Porsche in business...
