She's alive!!!
#1

Fired her up today for the first time in ages.

Sounds sweet. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Slight leek on the Samco heater bypass but I should be able to sort this out <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/mad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Now its time to send her off for the cage fitting and the interior painting.

Roll on April!!!! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/blink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/blink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/blink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Alright! By the time April rolls around you'll be wishing you had more time. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> Nothing seems to come together until the last minute - at least for me.

Graham,

Congratulations! I agree with Erik about never having enough time, and things never exactly as timed; at least for me, too.

I'm thinking of calling my team...such as it is, with my 2 dogs, my wife and 2 kids...something like Last Minute Racing!

I had my cage installed in February, and I still don't have everything done inside the car.

Oh, and I ALWAYS seem to do things backwards...like putting the cage in before I strip out the interior completely.

Jason,

I know what you mean

I'm still preping the interior for paint.

A lot of sanding required!

I can understand now why race cars cost so much to have built.

I havn't even started on setups or anything!

I fixed the heater bypass pipe so everything is now cool (literally!) engine wise.

With nothing intended by this, a possible name for a race team comes to mind from a name we used for a business development project in college. Taking a little literary license, the name would be "Half Fast Racing". (If you don't get it, say it fast and listen carefully.)

I love it!

Maybe I should call my vinyl guy and get some stencils made.

Tee hee

That's me alright!

I'd be quicker on the build if I was so damned lazy.

I'm gonna post some pics soon of the work in progress.

How about it Jason?
