Is that the D1R supercharger in the black one? Wait, what am I thinking? If it's black, it must have the SC [Image: biggrin.gif]

How did you modify the fonr nose to replicate the RS size opening?

Did you do any mod's to the front sheetmetal to improve air flow to the intercooler, etc?

Any photo's would be good.

Thanks,

Craig

Both cars have custom alum "batwings" and the cab has the air intake snorkel area opened up and ducted so air can get through the intercooler. The front bumper cover was faily easy. Air saw, Wurth Fixall and a little elbow grease!

Thanks guy!

Cars and I will be at the parade. As a local I am helping Jeff Coe by hosting the 968 event at Tubby's in Thunderbolt, a nice little fishing vilage on the ICW. We have a section of the parking lot blocked off for 968's and there will be some special cars at this social/event. Dont miss it!!!!

Ok, it my version of a 968 tubro. First its a blast to drive and draws a lot of attention. 3.1 Lt, JE pistons, Wossner rods, Darton sleeves, Abaco 85 MM fully tunable MAF set up as a blow through, Quaife LSD, new leather on the seats, 996 steering wheel and the list goes on and on........ Not that I care much about the overall HP but it is currently pushing 400hp +/- to the rear wheels @ 16 lbs. Setup as a very street-able car.

Who did the work? It's just so interesting that good-running 968 turbo conversions are a rare as hens' teeth, and you so casually mentioned that you have one! Very cool.

With 16 lbs boost, did you have to do anything to lower the compression ratio from stock specs?
