Thanks for the input, Flash. I'll keep an eye on it, and if it starts to hunt more, i'll get the treatment. I think between the Marren injector clean and re-calibration, the synthetic oil, and other treatments I've described in earlier posts, my car is probably cleaner than the average car with its mileage. And of course, the repeated "Italian tune-ups" from the DEs hasn't hurt either <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Was thinking about doing this ( 97k miles on my car, and the only problem is some mild hunting when idling ) so I contacted Run-Rite and they indicated most Sears Auto Centers or Midas shops are authorized / recommended run-rite process mechanics. So my question is this.. in general terms, are these places shops to which you guys would take / trust with a Porsche for any kind of engine work, even though it is little more than a simple cleaning <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/unsure.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

not a big deal - no real porsche knowledge required - attach to a vacuum port and remove maf - i would choose sears though - deeper pockets - not a lot of faith in midas
