RSS feed.

Hey, can we get an RSS feed from this website? It's listed as a feature on Invision's website, but I don't see a link anywhere. Thanks.

Hey Guys !

I noticed today that the RSS symbol is lit up on my toolbar today, would someone give it a try and tell me if it's what you were looking for here.

Thanks,

Jay

Could someone please explain this RSS feed? I have noticed it on other sites for the year or so and never understood it.

Thanks!

It is a way of having updated content delivered directly to you browser. Kind of like being able to see everything that is new with the site without having to navigate to the actual page. Some of them are updated in real time, while others gather the new posts/content and send it out at specific times.

I addition to using RSS feeds in a browser, I use an application called KlipFolio which streams information from my favorite websites directly to my desktop. I'm hoping the way it would work with 968 forums is that anytime someone makes a new post, I would get a notification and a preview of the post. That way, rather than me checking the website every so often for new posts, I'll get notification of each new post in realtime.

Coincidentally, I received an email notification this morning - http://www.howstuffworks.com/rss-feeds.htm. Now I know that RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication.

lol - john - with the rate of expansion of the activity of the site, you're going to be getting a notification every couple of seconds
