Sort of off thread perhaps but my brother in law has a best friend who is an aficionada and lost his job. He was always tinkering and doing mechanical stuff on his Porsche. So he just started hanging at a friends automotive service shop and has started a new career there as a mechanic. When he heard that I had taken my car to RS he wondered why I wasn't using his shop as it's supposed to be really good. Anyone care to fathom a guess as to the name of the shop?

The answer better be either RS Barn or Provost, or you're getting a warning for being beyond off topic

Good to know, all the very best wishes for success with the new direction

Sugegsted first project on the NLA parts : a Cat

Second project : Wire harness

Third project : DMFW.

( Actually the 968 DMFw seems to be more along the line of an endangered species rtahre than an extinct one...for now anyway...)

Ok, if we're going to dream, let's dream big:

ITB's!

OK, I realize it would be a very small market, and there are many issues to overcome (the resonance boost from the stock manifold, brake booster location, etc.), but we can still dream, right?

Glad to see you have made this move, I feel better knowing no one else can be in the RSB service club, I get jealous. I know I could never have driven all that way to get my car cared for but it is always easy to order more goodies for the car.

Since we're dreaming, how about some beefy spindles for under $1000?

Provost is still only 31 minutes from my house, instead of 10 minutes to the Barn...nt even close to making me consider any other service center, not by a long shot.

I don't want to get too far ahead on OE parts. Thanks for the input.

RS Barn will be updating several current products with improvements for street and track

As you know, we specialize in performance and handling components along with real 968 track and racing experience.

PCA, NASA and SCCA US Racing victories in hand with more to come. The new Racing Products are in the hands of some

very capable drivers.

We're shooting for second UTTC Challenge victory with Monster 968GT Motor in my Firehawk.

Rob from Provost was at NJMP yesterday and received some excellent feedback on the combination of his services along with RS Barn. There is a good

vibe happening

Pete,

This is great news! I look forward to hearing about the new products ahead. Just great to know that there is someone who is specializing in these cars. Now, if I could only get you to Phoenix, AZ.

Pete depending upon what you mean by driver coaching that might be something I would be interested in.

I'm a PCA Driving Instructor and one of few who knows front engine Porsche handling. Most PCA instructors only know the behavior of rear engine cars.

There may be an opportunity for me to instruct/coach at DE events. I'll see how my new program develops from a time perspective. One of my customers has hired two different coaches who have never driven 968 ect.
