RS Barn Announcement
#1

RS Barn Announcement:

Effective May 1, 2011 RS Barn will focus entirely on Parts Development for Porsche 968 and 944 series.

New products are already in the works... As many are aware, there is an increasing list of OE NLA parts.

I am currently looking into reproducing a few key items. Hopefully more will follow.

Development of Performance, Handling and Racing products will continue. I will announce a new line of

Racing Brake Pads as soon as the order is filled. A new 968 Racing exhaust has already been tested and will be available soon.

RS Barn's Website will be updated and expanded to contain new products and information. This will allow quicker response to web

inquires and requests for information. RS Barn will participate in more 968 and 944 communities, forums and events.

RS Barn has reached an agreement with Provost Motorsports to transition service work to their facility located on RT 206 in Bordentown, NJ.

This is approx 20 minutes away from RS Barn's Newtown, PA location. Rob Provost is a factory trained Porsche technician. www.provostmotorsports.com

Max Aleksak will work at Provost Motorsports to provide quality service and modifications to 968 and 944 vehicles. He will be using factory tools and service techniques. His 4 years at RS Barn has made him the most knowledgeable front engine tech in the country.

RS Barn will be available via web or phone for technical questions and act as an advisor to Provost Motorsports regarding your treasured 968 and 944's

Provost Motorsports is now booking appointments for May 2011. Please contact Rob or Jeff @609-298-3555

Regards,

Pete Fitzpatrick

Good move Pete!

Good to see you going back to your roots and getting to work developing more mods for the 968 .

I'm sure that Max will be very capable of handling the service business, since he has spent 4 years studying with the Master.

Best of luck!!!

Seems like my timing was very lucky to have had RS service and do some mods on my car last week! By the way, loving the new sports car Pete gave me!

Pete has always been an excellent resource for those who love the 968. His dedication to customer service has been head and shoulders above any other experience, and I don't think anyone can argue that he wouldn't go out of his way to help someone out. Constantly on the forefront of products and developments, RS Barn has continued to shine and provide the best service and resources in the world for 968 enthusiasts.

I'm sure we all wish him the best of success in this new direction.

I met Max at Flash's detail day a few weeks back - the guy knows his 968s! Good luck in your new position Max!

Pete and Max ,

I wish you the best of luck. This sounds like a great endeavor. Not to mention the fact that I will have a few miles less to travel for shop work. Pete, I hope we can still visit you out in Newtown to see what goodies you are cooking up ! Congrats

Rico,

I will be attending events more and can meet you at Provost's when you come. It's closer to my house than the Barn.

Pete,

That's awesome. You and Max are a great resource to the community, and I look forward to working with you guys again in the future in your new capacities. Not a lot of 968 knowledge in this area...

Great to here you are staying around Pete, you were a big help on the oil pick up tube. Provost Motorsports is the mechanic I use for my 911 and 968, they are top notch. With the help of Pete, they recently fixed my engine ticking noise, replacing the oil-pick up tube in the bottom end. Robbie at Provost Motorsports also did my clutch work as well as recently replacing my timing belt and rod bearings. With Pete and Max's help they will have no trouble fixing the 968, or any other Porsche for that matter. Nobody should hesitate using them and they are very reasonable compared to the dealer.

If only Pete and Max could train some techs in other parts of the country. You guys in the mid-Atlantic have it made.

You'd better be visiting Newtown....I live only 4 miles from the Barn and we have some "Olive Oil" from California to taste

Bordentown is 5 miles East of Trenton NJ

Newtown PA is 6 miles West of Trenton NJ

Clients can still be picked up at Train Station

Pretty smart location eh!

Hold the phone,... what's this about a train station?

Is it possible to drop off a car and catch the train home, then come back by train to pick it up?!

Amtrak runs straight into Trenton, NJ. Given the right circumstances, there is no doubt that you could be offered a lift to drop off or pick up...
