Rough Idle and missing
#1

Hi all!

94 968 with the chip, ran it hard (well warmed and all), remeber hitting 7200 rpm, then suddenly the engine started running rough (hesitating, little burps and burbles). Since then it has been very hard to start - stalls 2 or 3 times if not given a lot of gas - and continues to run rough.

Tried to check the vacuum hosees but couldn't see anything loose.

Any thoughts?

Maybe the front hall sensor?

or the idle stabilizer does not work correctly. This due a worn DME relay. The DME relay does also give power to the fuelpump and the idle stabilizer. And tthis may cause bad starting and also rough idle when cold.
