I've been running the D1R stage 3 supercharger for 250 miles now, and have been monitoring fuel pressure. On cold start, the fuel pressure gauge reads 58lbs, but after things warm up, the gauge reads 53lbs. Swapped out the fuel pump today and thought I'd add some notes on the process...

This is very timely, not because I need to replace my fuel pump, but because one of the day's projects is to replace my check valve, and I wasn't 100% sure where it was located until I saw your pictures.



Nice real coilover set-up, too. Not to hijack this thread, but I'm curious as to why you mounted them the way you did, with the body of the shock on tthe bottom. The place I bought my set-up from (Racers Edge) recommends mounting the rear shocks with the shaft end down (so with the lettering of the shock brand - Motons in my case - upside down). I know nothing about this stuff, so I'm curious as to the pros and cons of how to mount them, as this is the next project on my car. Thanks.

different shocks mount differently. not all shocks can be mounted upside down. it's a venting thing

Dave - 54 cold, 53 warm.

Cloud - bilstein coil over setup has a tender spring under the main with re-keyed torsions.

On bikes with twin damper swing-arms like a Triumph or Norton if possible we always attach the housing to the frame to reduce unsprung weight.
