There were some mind-numbing, rare, unique and well-pedigreed Porsches in that corral ( next to the 968 turbo RS pictured above ) and I'm about to make a statement that will no doubt be poo-pooed on by Porsche purists and perhaps a few other car experts as well, but I honestly believe Flash's car placed in the midst of all those would attract as much attention and interest as any of them, and arguably much more so than the turbo RS . IMHO.

Flash's car is special and eye candy with all the cool parts, but the RS Turbo looks more "racey" with the other race cars. But defiantly so many marvelous Porsches in that tent. Flash's car belonged at the display area by the gaggle of 918s. Imagine if Porsche had continues the 968 a few more years. The Boxster saved their bacon for sure, but what if????

True, the corral was all race cars so in that sense maybe not the most suitable spot for it, but in an equally prominent display space where people can see a car as close to what a 2015 968 might be. If Porsche had the money to spend producing the new 968 model to flash's specs and amenities, lol. But of course, in coupe / hard top form :-) :-)

Yes as we all know, as wonderful as Flash's car is, it's major failing is that it's not a coupe.

Flashmobile aside and back to the cars there , as Bob ( AZ ) noted, on Sunday we gawked at eight 918s parked next to one another and man, what a spectacular car that is !! I heard that on Saturday there were over a dozen of them lined up . Looking at them I just started counting : one million dollars, two million dollars, three million dollars... And then again, it's all relative ; Sarurday's $ 12 million dozen 918s would not even buy one single 1960s Ferrari 250 GT ...

My new $1Million paint job, sort of makes my 968 look faster, don't you think?
