MB - Thanks for the clarification. But I'm still not clear on why this lock would be needed, because as Lear35A points out, once the bell housing is on, you can use the other flywheel lock (the one Tama shows) to hold the flywheel in place while torquing the flywheel and clutch pressure plate bolts. But I guess it could home in handy if you ever need to secure the engine before the bell housing is on.

Couldn't find somebody in the SF bay area with a 9206/1 flywheel lock tool, so I finally ordered one from local dealer. Price was not that much different from Pelican because they charge shipping. It is a specialty item and doesn't qualify for their free shipping over $75 deal. They have to order from Porsche and then it has to go through their warehouse to get to me, so it wasn't worth the delay. Same story with Sunset Porsche in Oregon. Supposed comes out of Porsche warehouse in LA.
