Power Steering Pump
#1

Hello members.

Just a simple question. I need to replace the steering pump on my 1992 Porsche 968 Cabriolet, but I have found out that there is a important price difference between the used part for the 928 model compared to the 968... being the 928 cheaper.

So, .... question.... can the power steering pump fit my 968?

Any suggestion where I can get one for a reasonable price??

Thanks,

Just comparing the two while they are on the car, it doesn't look like it would work, the hose connections seem different. What makes you think you pump is bad? They do have reseal kits for them if it's just leaking.

Try rennbay.com for the power steering pump rebuild kit. Travis is a great guy and ships out quick.
I think there may be a write up on the rebuild at clarks-garage.com
