Rear hatch demist & door lock switch
#1

A couple of questions chaps...

My rear hatch has stopped demisting. I've tried the usual (I think), looking to see if there are any breaks in the strips, the fuse is okay and the switch on the dash lights up.

In an unrelated way the little switch that locks the doors has also stopped working.

I like things to work... Any ideas?

Also check or replace the relay G3. That is the defogger relay. It might just be corroded and cleaning the contacts would do the trick.

The door lock switch... maybe a loose connector at the switch or a bad ground at ground point II, which is near the relay box under the hood.

Thank you sir!

I've played with the relay, so I'll see how we go with that. Couldn't see the ground point for the lock switch is it obvious?

Cheers, Deano.
