Powdercoated Christmas Present
#1

My Christmas present to myself -- powdercoated front calipers and new SS brakelines from RS Barn! I had to get the front pads and rotors done anyways, so I had my mechanic pull the calipers and I send them off to Goldline Brakes in Seattle for their acrylic (not really a powdercoat) treatment.

I also had the stainless steel brake lines from RS Barn installed.

Looks great - I definitely will be doing this! Is the Porsche logo a sticker or painted on?

Nicely done. I was going to do this a couple of years ago to my M030 car, and didn't. I'm thinking the Amazon coupe could use some of Goldline's TLC...

Did they just coat them, or also rebuild? Do you mind telling ous how much it cost? They look awesome!

They rebuilt them as well. Cost was around $250 ea. I checked around on a couple of the boards and Goldline was universally recommended. Budget restrictions made the rears wait until later this spring!

The brakes look great here Pete!

These guys are pretty much in my backyard so I'll have to keep them in mind if I ever want to get my calipers all cleaned up.

The SS brakelines from RS make a big difference. Firmer, more confident feeling. At least that's what the seat of my pants tells me!
