That took a serious amount of work and has a lot of potential. The corvette has a longer wheel base so they must have shortened the corvette torque tube. Also the corvette transmission runs in front of the differential so the rear seat area must have been removed. The corvette transmission and differential are actually seperate pieces. It is not so much a transaxle but just the transmission has been moved to the back and butted up against the diff. Not to mention the work required to mount the whole corvette rear sub frame! It would have been much easier to just do a corvette, but I guess that wouldn't be unique. The corvette has a pretty good suspension and is not that heavy.
