Can one integrate a Porsche CDR23 into a 968? Apparently the CDR23 comes with MOST, which is some sort of fiber optic system. But, if you look at the back of the BE 6612, you will see the standard Becker/Blaupunkt plug connections.



So, I am wondering if you can install a CDR23 into the 968 via the traditional wiring methods. If not, what would one need to do to install it, if it is even possible?



I will eventually remove the CR1 in my cab and replace it with something, I am not sure with at this point. I really liked the CDR220 I put in my old coupe so there is always that. But if I can get a "newer" CDR23 and make it work, I would consider it.



Another question- I saw somewhere the CDR23 doesn't have an AUX input. If this is the case, it would probably be a non-option as I couldn't integrate my iPod.



Thoughts, advice, wisdom?

I'm not sure about the MOST in the 968 but you're correct about the Aux. None. For that reason, I just installed a CDR-220 into my 968 that has the AUX function. Nothing like listening to your Ipod full of tunes...
