I recently got engaged to my girlfriend.
We have talking about when we want to get married.
We had been thinking an early September wedding in 2008.
Then today she realized that the 6th of September is on a saturday!!
so now we are planning on getting married on 9/6/8!!
at least it will be easy to remember my anniversary <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

My parents were married on April 15th... Dad always claimed he did that so that he could remember his anniversary each year as he did the taxes.

94SilverCab - cool your anniv. is on D-Day, 6/6/44. I was
in Normandy for the 60th. The French prefer to remember it
as the "Liberation". They don't seem to like calling it an
"Invasion"... I found that out when I referred to it as the "Invasion" and was corrected, politely. The entire time, I kept wishing I had my Porsche to drive around those skinny winding roads.
