The car theft rate is alarmingly high these days and the police, in many areas, show little concern when it comes to theft recovery or capturing the culprit of vandalism.

At a minimum people need to slow down and make a phone a call to the police. Grabbing a plate number if possible. I understand the fear that grips many in situations like this. Dark night and a few thugs going at a car. It could be dangerous. so I wouldn't advise this to a woman. But most of these guys are cowards. Pulling over and shining your headlights on them is often enough to send them scurrying away.

Yeah, most of the thugs in Phoenix carry guns. I think AZ is #1 for car theft. Mexico is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. They dont really care what your bringing into Mexico.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot. I think I have a passenger window sitting in my garage. Your welcome to it if it will help. Im sure theyre not cheap new.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone for the support and encouragement. It was devastating to see my baby in this condition on the side of the road. I am trying to take everything one step at a time. I usually keep the car empty of things that might get stolen. It figures that the one time I did not it gets stolen. Just my luck. I just want to get it fixed and back in my hands!
