Pixar Motorama photos
#1

Went to Pixar's Motorama event a couple weeks back, here are some shots from the assembled cars. Sorry for the big sizes:

1. Leather steering wheel hub from what I believe is an Allard K3 Touring

2. Allard Badge

3. Engine from well preserved 1930's Roller

4. Interior from well preserved 1930's Roller

5. Well preserved 1930's Roller

6. Picture of an Ariel Atom drivetrain. What's wrong with this picture....

7. Very very clean 1967 S with 911R goodies retrofitted. Original paint!

8. Very angry looking turbo on 2JZ-GE inline 6 from a Lexus IS300. Note turbo oil cooling line.

9. Ah, the good 'ol Nissan L24. How many of us have wrenched on one of those suckers?

10. Jay Leno turbine car thingamajigger.

11. Audi R8

12. Audi R8

13. 1953 Maserati A6 GCS Fantuzzi Spyder

14. The cockpit

15. The 2.0L 170hp twin plug straight six

16. And again.

17. They don't make 'em like this anymore.

18. Yours truly with happy girlfriend and movie car. I'm not as fat as I look. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/tongue.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Great pics!

The Areial Atom you took a pic of was actually a Wrightspeed EV (basically an electric version of the Atom)

Those Maserati's from the 50's are awsome works of art. Thanks for sharing.

Pic 15 is my desktop pic of the day.

My pleasure. The pics look low resolution but really aren't, I think the BB software dumbs 'em down because they're too big. I'll see what an 800x600 version does.
