Thanks for the responses everyone. I guess the issue I have with my current setup is that the stock brake pedal sits way too high compared to the gas pedal. Thus making it far too difficult when applying the brake, the heel the gas to match rev during downshifting and braking.

Do you actually use your heel on the gas pedal in the "heel-and-toe" downshift? I always use the side of my foot, for which I find the 968 pedals to be perfectly situated. But then, I have a very wide foot.





Also, you don't have to wait for the next track day to practice the maneuver. Any corner on the street will do nicely. Good luck.

When I'm out with my stilletto's on I've no problem whatsoever. Mind you getting out the car is something else.
