option code second try?
#1

I have a 95 Cab. with a tip. I'v looked in the trunk under the carpet and no option codes? I does not look like there was a sticker there that I could see. I have the manual but not the original bill of sale. Are there any other ideas as where I can find out where to get the option codes.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Matt

Kinda of pricey. Maybe there are other options to inquire Porsche with the VIN.

Thanks,

I have thought about it but not sure i'm ready to go there yet. If all else fails. thought that it might be fun to find out what the factory options were. I'm also toying with buying a second 968 in the rear future.

If you have the original SERVICE manual, the one that gets stamped when services are done, it should have a duplicate of the Option Code label w/ the options on your car.

I'm looking at a car long distance right now, I tried to explain what sticker to look for on the car to the seller's wife, she couldn't find it but she emailed me a photo of the service manual's first page that had the label on it. As I remember my '88 911 has it in there too I believe.
