Hello All,

 

A local former Porsche owner sold me her Durametric for a good price this week. I have had the typical air bag light problem on and off for a few years, and I thought it would be nice to be able to reset it myself.

 

It was...

 

But, it seems that is all it is able to do. It was only used on one car, and it is the "enthusiast" version which will support 3 cars, so that is not the issue.

 

I have not been able to access any of the engine management data, or get real time information. For resetting the air bag light it worked great, but is that all it does because our cars are older? Mine is a very early 92, produced in October of 91 (Happy 30th Birthday to my car!) in case that matters.

Hi M have you updated the software? I have version 6, but haven't used it for a while so it may be upgraded.



Yes it is limited when compared with 986/996 and newer, but retourne à fair amount of info.



Why not pull up the screen on your laptop, take a photo and post it here. I'll plug mine in and post a comparative photo....but firstly check the software.
