#21

Quote:cabin air filters were a 1994 M/Y change

So... '93 and earlier have different filters, or no filters?

I know my 93 has them so I think they just changed the style and that is why he said they would work.

[quote name='EEZATOY' post='29951' date='Jan 17 2007, 01:24 AM']Michael,

I will be in Adelaide this March (11-24 IIRC) so if you can wait...shipping to california has to be cheaper and I can't imagine they would take up much space in a bag - though from the discussion it sounds like making your own is the way to go...I'll have to pull mine and see how dirty they are.

Thanks Sam, I'll let you know how I go...

I have had two different 1993 968 Coupes, one a very low mileage one with no changes from stock when I bought it. (less than 16,000 miles). Neither of them had filters on the cabin air inlets from the factory. There are wire grates over the openings on each side which snap on and off. It is a simple matter to get to them and pop them off and make a filter element of your choice and reinstall them. Good luck, Bob blackwell.
