Hi All,
Ive had my 993 for 13 yrs, 4 yrs ago it went into Ninemeister for major surgery and came out looking like an RS. While it was off the road I decided to get a 944S2 as a stop gap and it's still here, Was very tempted to buy Barry Hart's 968 CS but funds would not allow.
The S2 has been great, but soon found out the engine had been overheated at some time and the bores were badly scored, so the second slippery slope started. A replacement engine was sourced and fitted, Koni sports, M030 arbs, Heigo cage, Recaro Spgs soon followed and a track day at Knockhill brought back the urge.
I raced an MGA Twin-Cam in the 70's and 80's followed by numerous track days on my Ducati 998 FE, including t'Ring.
Currently I'm in the process of modifying the suspension further. Coil overs on the front and 968 torsion bars on rear (dreading that job)
Located a 968 Sport which is possibly soon for sale, lovely car but it's yellow and every car I've owned has been red. I don't want to go too far with the S2, so all the work done is reversible.
