Maybe the mystery will be solved when the shop guys examine the glass ; I presume they've seen every kind of windshield damage imaginable . Getting this done at Safelite - I think it's the largest auto glass chain in the U.S. - but it's already been one whole week, and they can't even get an e.t.a for the windshield delivery , from their sourcing group, so I can't schedule an appointment yet . The Maserati dealer service dept said that to the best of their knowledge ( since the dealers " don't do windows " ) the wait for the order could easily take 3 to 4 weeks !! WTF, is it being transported here from Italy on a gondola ?!
