Just might be the New Jersey folks who dominate the 968 ownership ranks!!!

968 is a great track car/race car - love it

What PCA club are you guys in? I'm in SCH. I've been tracking my 86 911 in complete stock form, but decided the car was too nice to continue doing it and I didn't want to modify it...it's a time machine...everything works on it, including AC and the paint is in near-perfect condition!! So, I came across the 968, didn't know much about it, but the more I read, the more I liked..largest 4 ever built, great balance, top speed close to 160, look of a 928, what's not to like. Going to do the timing belt this weekend, add koni cup shocks and springs, swap out the 16" rims for 17s w/pilot sport cup tires, put in sparco seate...looking to make its debut on the road in mid-June for SCH's lobster run (my wife will drive it since it's "her" car, and track debut at Thunderbolt/lightning on June 17/18.

it's got a pretty significant oil leak (at least I know there is oil in it,) but hoping to address it when I do the timing belt. There's a small dent on the hood and some spots elsewhere that aren't so great, armrest is destroyed, dash has some cracks, but overall looks pretty good...none of this matters too much since its second life is going to be spent on the track!
