I recently acquired a 1994 968 Cabriolet with Tiptronic for a winter project. It has turned into more than I expected and have a lot of questions about repairs and common problems. Look forward to being a part of the Forum.

Thanks, Carsim

Welcome,

You've come to the right place for both assistance and empathy. Lots of good resources here and a fair number of owners in VA.

Regards,

Jay

Welcome to the forums. Where in Richmond do you live? I lived in the Fan for many years while doing my undergrad (VCU Alum).

Lots of good advice here about the car. I too bought mine as a project and have since sunk too many hours and dollars into it, with plenty of help from forum members along the way. Now it's running well and I enjoy it every chance I get.

If you find yourself heading North, please stop by and say "hi". My new project is a 93 Tip Coupe.

We live North of Richmond in Tappahannock. Hopefully I will have the car "running" soon. Thanks for the response.

I just bought mine in April and lots and lots of cash later I am finally enjoying it - You will get there, just have patience if you are doing it yourself or make sure you find a great guy to work on it like I did!

Lots of super technical and general info here! Don't be afraid to ask and jump right it!

Everyone is super generous with everything - make sure you figure out the search engine and try there first....It is your friend.

See ya around the forums and welcome!
