Hello Everyone,
I have a 1994 white with midnight blue interior 968 coupe with 54,000 trouble free miles! Only had a leaking front shock leak and was replaced by Porsche out of warranty. Dealer said they "good willed" the repair and I only had to pay for a wheel alignment. No problems since( I'm knocking on wood right now). Drive it to work every day and wish it had a cupholder for my 16 oz mug. Have bridgestone all seasons on it , third set of tires since purchase, and much better ride quality over the rock hard continentals that came stock. Running mobil one 15-50 syn, and when I pull out the dipstick the oil is golden, amazing that it isn't black like the other cars I own. I store the car in a heated garage from Nov to March for the last 14 yrs. Also have an k&n air filter, otherwise the car is stock. The only real expence so far is changing the timing belt, and I forgot to mention the first belt change the tech noticed the water pump was starting to leak by a pulley and sure enough when I spun it, you could feel the bearings grind. When they showed me the water pump, it was the most amazing piece of machined aluminum I'd ever seen. Great car, people at gas stations come up all the time to comment, lots of head jerking on the road. My wife wonders why I drive this car but I still love it.
That's my story and I'm sticking with it. Scre
