Greetings to 968 Forum,

I'm Dave and reside in Evergreen, Colorado. I added a 968 to my collection of Porsche cars so that I can learn more about the transaxle series that Porsche built.  I've fallen in love with the 944-968 cars through club racing. I run in the SP1 class in PCA, but I did my track training in a 997 and then in a 987. These cars are much more powerful and have modern control systems. But the 944-968 cars don't.  Racing a car with just a little horsepower is way different than running with lots of HP and torque.  Driving the 944 has made me a better driver and helped me understand the dynamics of the car, like weight-shift, brake modulation, maintaining entry speed, etc.  I got my 968 to drive around our mountain area. We have great roads here. I want to have the fun of a balanced transaxle car almost every day. Mine is a Speed Yellow cab, and by VIN appears to be the first SY cab produced. Its been a Colorado car for some time. I'm happy to be the next owner to care for this vehicle.

Yes that is right. In fact it has sold twice on BAT. It remains in good hands and needs a bit of deferred maintenance which will be fun. Fun to feel is come back to silky smooth .
