Welcome to the forum. When you wrote 'complete service" did that include timing/balance shaft belts? Depending on mileage and age, the replacement is critical and your snop may not consider them part of routine servicing. If the engine is coming out, good time to look at the upper end too. Look at variocam pads as well.

Thanks. Yes insisted we got belts, pulleys, tensioner done. Ran in to a problem with a 'humming' balance shaft belt. It seems some of the after market belts have teeth thar are a different shape to factory belt. Sorted after using factory belt. Varipcam pads?? What n where?
Will also get injectors tested when engine out.
