Howdy All

Just getting into the P-Car world, and if all goes well, will have a "late model" 968 in the stable within the next few weeks. Not new to high-performance, having spent most of my life on 2 wheelers (XL175, Seca 400, DT200, FZ600, TL1000R ...) and more recently with a Mach 1 Mustang. Over the years, have spent many many days on the road, in the forest, and on the race track.

Unfortunately, I have had too many fellow riders and friends meet an untimely demise on their crotch rockets, so am converting to 4-wheelers where I at least have half a chance. Also, sadly recognizing that in my 4th decade, my reflexes are not what they were when I was younger ... (TL1000: 3.2 lb/HP; 968:13 lb/HP )

Hoping to take advantage of the Porsche Club DE days and really see if I can hone my driving skills on the same tracks that I used to race on. Will be an interesting journey, one which I will surely chronicle with you lot as I go along.

Cheers !!

Wise decision to select 4 wheels over 2...I like the comfort of being surrounded by steel.

After some 13-14 motorcycles through my youth I have also come to the conclusion that 4 wheels and walls are a good thing. In an interesting ironic turn you will spend a lot of time trying to get your car to not lean into the turns

Welcome! Some of us like more steel than others, hence the coupe vs. cabriolet debate, but sooner or later all those coupe owners are going to realize we cab owners are right!

What's that Tama? Less is more! Lol You cab guys sure spend a lot of time trying to tell us coupe guys that sooner or later the truth will tell. Hope that's not insecurity?
