Hi Everyone,

I've been interested in the entire Porsche transaxle series for 3 years now. After a year of searching on the German car market, I bought a 1993 968 coupe with 100.000miles in Indian red with a black interior as my first car. The car had relatively minor accident damage (the radiator bracket was bent, as well as the front and rear bumpers). I have already eliminated all the damage with acquaintances who are well versed in transaxle prosches. In addition, the axes were remeasured. Before I bought the car, a service was carried out (the toothed belt with tension rollers and various rubber parts were renewed). Before I register the car, I intend to replace the sliding rails of the Vario Cam camshaft adjustment and the timing chain of the Variovcam and of course an oil change (I'm not sure which oil exactly would be the best grateful for recommendationsWink ) with a filter change, spark plugs, fuel filter, etc. I also bought a set of cup 3 rims for the summer with new Pirelli tires.

I would be happy to get a few tips on things I should do with the 968 before I drive it everyday

Greetings from Germany
