I bought it without test driving it big mistake,

Going to need this forum once I know what's wrong. Overheating and coolant blockage in the engin . But other than that I'm loving it.

Hi I got good news, the garage in Vancouver told me a bunch of garbage and charged me $1200

So I had it towed to Okanagan and that told me the car is running just fine, turns out if this cars

Sit for a period of time the get Air pocket and you have to believe them out for at least an hour and a half. I'm picking up the car tomorrow and I can't wait to take it out for a drive.
Sorry that supposed to say bleed out not believe out

If there is air in the system, you should bleed it before you take it for a spin. Pretty easy to do.

Anyway: welcome!

You need a road trip! Check out the thread for the gathering at Lake Tahoe in July, and change your belts.

That would be the timing and balance shaft belts Jay is talking about, not the a/c, ps and alternator belts, unless you know they were replaced within 4 yrs. Big problem$ if they let go. Of course check those belts too.

My guess is that just about everything rubber is toast, but definitely don't drive on the Balance shaft/Timing belts as my colleague above clarified.
