Greetings from Alaska. I have a Blk/Blk 1995 6spd coupe. Although I live in Alaska I purchased the 968 in Oregon. It was the first 968 I had ever seen and after I drove it , I purchased it. The car now has apx. 217,000 miles on it of which I put on around half . I work in the music industry and have had the car in darn near every state. Unbelievable how many Porsche dealers have stored my car for free and also given me rides to the Airport. Porsche puts their money where their mouth is when it comes to customer service!! Jack Ingram Volks, Porsche, Audi in Montgomery Alabama is run by Porsche Angels , the salt of the Earth. I have another Porsche ,944, which my wife uses in the summer and moderately in the winter after the roads are plowed . I love to do my own maintenance and have done minor repairs on the 968 but I have rebuilt the 88 944 engine after 166,000 . My formal military training was in Aircraft mechanics . I hope to met other 968 owners .
