I'm brand new to any forum. My name is david and i'm from crown point, indiana. The area's only sad claim to fame was john dillingers's jail break with his wooden gun. The love for cars has been in my blood for many years. Thankfully, my wife allows me to buy "new toys" now and then. I've owed a blue 1994 986 since jan. 1996 with 50k miles so far. My daily driver is 2008 lexus is awd that has been lowered with f sport rims. My 3- season car is 2008 bmw m3 conv. My wife loves her 07 lexus suv, so not much time is spent wanting to drive my cars. I look forward to the information this site provides. david.

well, welcome to the site



i would offer a constructive criticism in that i would not juxtapose the 8 and 6 in 968 if you want the members to avoid making fun of you, as they are pretty fanatical about their car - this is a site for the 968, a fairly rare car, not one for the more common boxsters (986)

Oddly enough, I made the same typo once coming here and was stymied for a few seconds when the page loaded - www.986forum.com - I thought Bob was at it changing things again. I finally realized the picture of the car on the site was a Boxter. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />
