Hi. Im a new member from North Carolina. I am the original owner of a black 1993 968 coupe. I love this car. For many years it was my only vehicle so it has seen a lot of miles - 128,000 to be exact. I am in the process of restoring. I found a great mechanic in Chatlotte- SKL Automotive. Spero is great to work with. My 968 need some body work so I am looking for a good body shop

Yes, original owners here seem to be a rare breed, congratulations!

I would like to hear about what drew you to the car, and what you recall of original impressions driving one brand new.

Were you a long-time Porsche (356 or 911) owner, or perhaps started with a 944 (or 914?), or just straight to the 968?

I also had my 968 as only car, untill we started to make the family bigger.

Then still for a few years it was the one and only car, untill the backseats became to small for our little boy  :whine:

 

So decided to buy an extra and better family car.
