New 968 owner, new to forum
#1

Hi, Bill from Alameda, California here. I just purchased a '93 968 Cab in what appears to be excellent condition. I put about 500 miles on it coming up the California coast bringing it home. What a wonderful automobile! I'm really looking forward to poking around the forum, learning more about this car, and getting my inevitable questions answered.

cool! another bay area boy

when you gain access to the other areas (read in the Tutorial about this) make sure you check out the events section - we have an annual major event that many bay area guys attend (many with the significant others too)

Thanks everyone for the kind welcome.

Chris: It's nice to know there's at least one other 968 on the Island. Being as this is my first Porsche, (previous sports cars include Bug-eye Sprite, Opel GT, RX-7, 300 ZX, Miata SE), any suggestions on a good Porsche mechanic in the East Bay would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and Dave, you are correct that they used to keep the "wessels" here, but they had to move them. It was too illogical and they ran out of dilithium crystals!
