Did I mention French bureaucrazy aaaagggggghhhhhhhh!!!

It turns out that this car was only ever produced in 3 colours (no of course olive green wasn't one of them) nor was the metalwork in brass. Everyone loves the colour combination, except the eagle-eyed authentication committee who have spotted the panels are not yellow/blue/brown .... zoot alors zis cannot be a real Citroen C3! To be fair I have found some good people, cf 968 forumites, so we shall get through this .. but it won't be the same car. :whine: :whine:

A couple of my old* toys:

I say old but the Spyder, while a replica of a '55, was built in 1996 so in reality, 4 years newer than my 968.

Just one possible problem ..... the brake and accelerator pedals are the other way around. No problem when driving the citroen as it is flat out at 30mph, so plenty of time to react. But if I hit the wrong pedal in the 968 the problem may be different.

My daily driver is a Smart car with paddle shifters. I've been driving the 968 the last few days getting it inspected, registered, cleaned up to go into the shop to get the belts done. Yesterday I went to "up shift" and turned the wipers on. Twice. Big Grin

Well while your spider may be a replica it still looks good. As a matter of interest is it Porsche under the bonnet/hood?

My other old toy is a 1979 Triumph Spitfire.

This was my very first car and I got it while in college in 1985.

It has ~78k miles and the original motor is still going strong.

At this point it is part of the family and driving it on a few sunny days each year still brings back many fond memories.

Triumphs are cool. I just recently sold my ‘58 TR3A … more of a 4-wheel motorcycle than an actual car!

I used to own an antique store. I have some really old toys..A lot of them too.

But unfortunately I can't ride them lol...Many are new old stock with original boxes.

When I closed this year, I kept much of the awesome toy inventory that I didn't want to see sold off at less than I paid for them.

It took seven years to gather it all. I have tons of old corgi, the Beatles and James bond sets. Circus sets from the UK and many others.

I am trying to figure out where and how to sell them..

1979 Suzuki gs1000 about 17K miles

They need some cleaning up. This was about 2006

Etsy...no thanks. I had an account, and they came right out and said if you don't offer free shipping, they would downgrade your listings and show them to fewer people. I cancelled the account the day I got the email.

Pass..I might just start with my store's website. I kept everything active when I closed and moved my license to my home. I can share a link when it's ready as long as it doesn't violate the site's rules here.
