Last weekend a couple of the local kids were riding their bikes around the neighborhood, and they stopped by to ask if I could help them pump up their punching bag. I went into the garage to fetch a floor pump and a needle, and one of the kids, looking at the 968, said to the other "MAN! Why is it that old people have such nice cars?"
Clearly, he had good taste in automobiles, but at 10 he was a terrible judge of age.

Quote:Sometimes I wonder whether greater wisdom is just more conservatism.
Well, my dear old Aunt Ida, with the wisdom that being an old Italian offers, once told me that if you are not a liberal in your 20's you have no heart, and if you are not a conservative in your 50's you have no brain. She was on the city council of her little town in New Jersey, and the council members rotated through the job of Mayor. As Mayor they had the right to sit as judge on the local municipal court. When Ida told me this, I was fearful that her little town would become the first place in history to hang someone in the public square for unpaid parking tickets.
Fortunately, for both the residents and the field of jurisprudence, she opted to just be Mayor for the year and not a muni court judge.

Reminds me of old Italian motorcycles with the shifter and brake reversed. Same problem with road bikes and motorcycles that have the front brake on the opposite sides. Makes you think when you are riding.

That is a nice car , i like the old Citroen cars ,
My father still drives a Citroen , did his whole life .
Great memories , driving to France in the DS and CX for hollidays towing a caravan , with my brother and sister on the back bench , my little sister in the middle and i on the left , big brother on the right ,
The last cx he had was a TRD turbo II was one of the first diesel powerd cars wich would almost hit the 200kmph , had a 2,5ltr engine , good old fashion turbo driving experiance .
To bad they rusted a bit much in those days ,
