My 968
#1

Hi there,

I just need to show this picture.. It was taken at the Nürburgring by Jochen Van Cauvenberge. What a great track and place for a car enthusiast!

Good looking stripe! I have never seen a stripe like that on a 968.

Thanks guys,

Hehe.. stripes are great.. And the suede gloves are to match the suede Momo steering wheel. It gives fantastic grip and racey feeling.

Thanks guys,

Yeah, it's possible to drive there with no racing safety devices because those public days are "Touristenfahrten". If you have a road legal car or bike you can drive it at the Ring. I saw some busses and diesel vans there along with almost race spec Porsches, BMW's and Caterhams and what ever. Some drive sensibly while others don't.. ending into the armco and paying large bills for that.

My car has a H&R clubsport suspension (400 lbs front/ 850 lbs back) with no torsion bars. Sways are M030. It looks lower than it is because of the steep banking of the karoussel corner..

And yeah, it's a replica turbo bumper cover.. I have a 2.8 turbo engine with FMIC and double oil coolers etc. in there so it's good to have larger opening to aid air flow to the cooler and radiator.
