Can those that have gone from normal bushings/bearings to upgraded monoball or solid types comment on the differences both good and bad?

i have the elephant racing bushings



up side - love them from a performance standpoint - very positive feel - all that loosey goosey wandering of the crappy rubber bushings is gone



down side - so is the nice quiet comfortable ride - definitely can hear the rear ones - front ones feel everything



not recommended for a street car - great for a track car

I have the rear Elephant Poly Bronze's + front RacersEdge A-arms with Mono's and new billet hubs to be installed. Plus I already have rear solid sway mounts and spherical drop links (although not too sure what advantage the drop links give?) and adjustable camber plates which are also meant to affect ride comfort. This is on a road car but it is my second car and doesn't cover vast distances. My focus is for the track for the next few years so I will have to put up with downsides. When you say 'noise' do you mean road noise transmitted? I've heard Delrin bushings can be noisy but none of mine are Delrin I don't think? I've picked up 2.5 seconds on 2 tracks with the new suspension and much better brake pads so I should expect some more improvement with the better bushings, no?

the ones that i get the most noise from are:



the rear lower control arm bushings (the ones that connect the banana arms to the torsion tube) - huge difference though in kickback and bump steer reduction



the spherical bearings i have in my shocks (since i deleted the torsion bars, it was a must to replace the rubber shock bushigns with spherical bearings because rubber won't handle the full suspension load)



it's not bad, but for those people who like a quiet car, it's a bit of a racket, and would be very noticeable in a hardtop (remember, i'm a cab, so a lot of the noise is masked anyway)



the others don't make noise, but just transmit a lot of feedback that many would find objectionable
