w/ 2 shepherds I'm thinking you better clear a path a bit further away from the house.
I wish my chains for my snow blower would leave the UPS depot in Laurel some day, than I can run the blower out into the grass to get to the woods. The dogs take a few leaps towards the woods where they are used to going and turn around and say F that. One of my dogs is only going every other day.
Bear has figured out that the snow is not too deep under the row of pines in the fornt

LOL. Didn't even notice the lil fella squatting till I read your last line. Could scare the hell out of a trespasser.
I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

Waiting for the Texans to chime in since they got snow down there too. At least in the DFW area.

I am actually pseudo happy it's been snowing like crazy, keeps my mind off of cigarettes while shoveling or blowing. Shoveled the 30+ incher rather than use the blower just so it would take forever. I've lost 16 lbs while quitting smoking and while some of it is diet, the clearing of snow has probably been the direct reason for the last 5 or 6 lbs. The dogs like having me work from home this past week but they would be happier with about a foot of snow on the ground.

Chantix and strong $$$ incentive from the employer. Although dieting, quitting caffeine (temporarily) and quitting smoking coincided with the biggest data fiasco in the 15 years with my company. Restoring almost 100 data backups and getting emailed copies of daily reports (for places that did not have backups I needed) to piece back together the data in 18 locations had me blow right through the first two weeks of Chantix smoking worse than before. Quite happy to say that after 78 inches of snow this one missed us except for some snow showers and the winds. Winds are steady in the mid 30's gusting to the 60's. Whiteout conditions just from the blowing of snow already on the ground on my way home yesterday and on the way in this morning.

Only about 3 -4" here but it is slick and icy on the roads.
I fell and cracked a rib on Tuesday (it only hurts when I breathe) so I am going nowhere in this weather.
With laptop/server access, cell phone, etc. I'm not sure why I go to the office at all anymore
