Just took my MAF out this weekend and cleaned the sensor with CRC Sensor Kleen, and sprayed all the contacts. I didn't expect much from doing this but I was pleasantly surprised. The car is running really well, smooth and pulling hard. Seems to have addressed a lag I was experiencing sometimes when I would pull away from the line. But overall the car is pulling much better. Best improvement for $9 I've ever seen. I have a high mileage car, 150,000 miles, but I don't seem to be burning much oil. I get about 3,000 miles or more before having to start adding any oil, so I usually make it to the oil change, and I drive it hard.

Just wanted to share this, the stuff really works, and the improvement is noticeable. Happy motoring!

Couldn't be easier, unplug, disconnect both ends of the MAF and remove. Be careful not to put anything inside the MAF that might touch the wire. Put a cloth under the MAF to catch the run off. Spray the cleaner on everything and let thoroughly dry. Spray the contacts as well Really important to let everything dry before putting it together and firing her up. Takes about 10-15 minutes. I let it dry for an hour before putting it back together and firing her up. Good Luck.

Actually gonna be about an hour SSW in Columbus, GA/Phenix City, AL. I'll be eventually looking for a good 968 guy in the GA/AL areas for general maint. stuff... If anyone has recommendations, I'm all ears.

Columbus is a little trek to Atlanta. You'll probably be able to check for some guys in Alabama.



The good news is you'll be closer to the beach for nice weekend drives.
