Ignition Switch problems... (answer)
#1

I received a question emailed to me, since I took the time to give Bill the info I thought I would share my response with the forum. It will eventually happen and it is a common problem especially those who have a gazillion keys and and heavy key chains. This is why I only leave two keys on my key ring (House and Car) and key remote key fob.

Question:

Quite some time ago in a land far away you owned a 968 and had trouble with the ignition (basically car would start, however accessories would not come alive!), I too am having these problems with the ignition and would you be so kind as to send me the part number if at all possible.

Thanks,

Bill

Answer:

This is exactly what you need if you are flexible you can do the swap on your back under the dash. If not removing the seat is easier. It is tight in there so you need to have patience. The switch is held on by two screws. Paragon sells this item.

Good luck.
