Folks:

Recently I installed a new fuel sending unit assembly. The fuel gauge reads fine, but the low fuel indicator lights toggles on and off even when the tank is full. Can anyone advised how to remedy this.

Bob,

 

Take the fuel sending unit out again, open it up and see if everything goes up and down the wire's as it should.

If the problem is here you might see it straight away.

Removed the sending unit. The long silver aluminum tube was off center and the low fuel wire was touching it. Don't know why that tube would be off center but got it straight and everything working correctly.
