Looking for nice 968 Coupe 6 speed
#1

I'm looking for a nice 968 coupe to replace my 1990 944S2 that recently went past 150K miles.

The car will get street and DE use so it doesn't have to be perfect but I'm not looking for a project! Important criteria:
  • Stick (of course!)

  • Low(er) mileage: 100K max, lower is better

  • Good condition

  • Service history

Nice to have:
  • M030

  • <acronym title='Limited Slip Differential'>LSD</acronym>

Any color considered though I'm not a fan of speed yellow or red.

I'm a long time 944 owner (and active PCA member) but any advice from Forum members on what to look for (or look out for) is most welcome!

Serious sellers are welcome to call me: 908 267-0280.

If you happen across a speed yellow with M030 and <acronym title='Limited Slip Differential'>LSD</acronym> let me know <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

The car in California is the splitting image of mine except it doesn't have sport seats. Too bad about the dash cover though. I'm guessing that means cracks... Love Amazon Green though.

The amazon green one looks nice form distance in those photos but same thoughts re the dash cover - never a good sign. The stick shift leather / knob looks pretty beat up as well which might be an indication of other areas with considerable wear. Nothing that can't be replaced though... Loved the " Spanish speakers ask for Olga " note. They forgot to add " Russian speakers ask for Consuela "

Oh fine, maybe I jump to conclusions too easily, perhaps she's Cuban . :-)
